Helping a Recruitment Firm Manage Their Workforce With Technology


A multinational recruitment firm needed to rapidly implement new technology in order to manage its huge contingent workforce. Yet doing so is often easier said than done. The firm was first introduced to us via a Request for Proposal (RFP) process, and their ongoing problems have now been resolved. Here, we’ll cover the key challenges they faced, the solution we found to these issues, and the results they achieved by working with us.

When our team began working with the firm in 2019, they were having trouble managing their workforce. The company was using slow and outdated timesheets, which naturally caused ongoing problems with work approval and invoicing. As to be expected, delayed timesheet approvals meant delayed payments, which can be bad news for any organisation. As they were growing, it was time for them to innovate.

To prevent further delays, our client started looking for a robust contingent workforce management solution that was both scalable and seamless. They were also searching for a solution that could fully integrate with their existing SAP platforms. However, training their entire contingent workforce to use the new technology wasn’t going to be an easy process, and they certainly couldn’t have done it alone.

Leveraging our prior experience of delivering similar solutions for other clients, we came in and defined the current landscape structure, outlined various solutions, and took a collaborative and consultative approach to ensure the plan was aligned with our client’s key goals.

We then worked with the company to implement a leading cloud-based vendor management system that helps businesses manage their external workforce. On top of that, we also provided various training materials that can be used by future employees to ensure they’re up to speed with the new technology.

After just seven months, the results were astounding. We drastically improved the overall management of their contingent workforce through quicker timesheet approvals, invoices and payments. It’s safe to say that their business is now going from strength to strength.

Above all else, our client was highly impressed with the robustness and simplicity of the solution we provided, as well as the training materials we delivered.
